The APWU of Florida Fall Seminar held in Pensacola September 6, 7 and 8, 2007 would not have been a success without the Auxiliary.

Our special thanks to Pensacola Area Local APWU Auxiliary President Phyllis Baker for all her hard work with everything about the seminar. Phyllis, with her husband Ken and friend Lisa Gonzalez, did the catering for our 88th Anniversary Celebration as well.

We also thank State Auxiliary President Tina Pruitt and our newest member to the Auxiliary Teresa Boone for all of their hard work during the seminar.

During the entire seminar, Auxiliary members were collecting money for the State’s 50/50 COPA (Committee on Political Action) drawing and for the Auxiliary’s Basket containing a set of matching necklace and earrings. The 50/50 COPA collection yielded $627, one half going to COPA and the other half won by Dave Grant from the Southwest Florida Area Local (Ft. Myers area). The Auxiliary’s basket which earned the local Auxiliary $330, was won by APWU of Florida Secretary Treasurer Jeff Pearlman.
